The Redwoods Company is participating in the N.O.W program that feeds 25 children from the Kids Count Program. Mischa Redmond and his staff will put together breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts for 25 children. Make a Difference Monday was inspired by Mischa Redmond’s passion for giving back. The Redwoods Company truly believes one act of kindness can change a life. “We forget how fortunate we are” says Kelly Schneider, a Director for The Redwoods Company, “giving back is good for the soul.” Mischa Redmond is proud to say that The Redwoods Company has 100% commitment from his staff. Make a Difference Monday is the first of many contributions The Redwoods Company will make.
Make a Difference Monday – Project Home
Kelly Schneider and Sarah Loewen, both staff members for The Redwoods Company, will be directing Project Home. This project will provide much needed supplies, interior design, and comfort for volunteers. The At Home Group recently started advertising for volunteers, in a donated office and with funds only available to help those in need, they are left with an office that needs a lot of work. While they never complain and always grateful for the space and the location, The Redwoods Company knew they had to step in and help. “We are excited and The At Home Group is excited as well” says Kelly, “we know how important volunteers are to The At Home Group, we wanted to give them a more personal space.” Kelly also states they will have before and after photos of this event.

The Redwoods Company is now offering a monthly donation program to their staff and customers.The donations will go directly to The At Home Group to help adults get or keep their jobs, by providing clothing, tools, training, transportation and more. The At Home Group is focused on getting adults back on their feet and providing for themselves and their families. Unlike similar non-profit organizations The At Home Group doesn’t give them money, they purchase the items necessary for them to be successful and earn an income. The entire  staff at The Redwoods Company has committed to help this cause, The Redwoods Company is also matching the amounts donated from staff and customers (limits apply email for details). The At Home Groups stories will truly touch your heart, and The Redwoods Company is proud to be apart of this organization and the community.

The Redwoods Company has partnered with Tc Dealz, a locally owned business out of Bloomington, MN. Tc Dealz has been helping small businesses by offering mobile coupons and alerts directly to their cell phones.

Mobile Marketing is set to explode in 2010, text message marketing will be a big factor in that growth. There are over 2.5 billion text messages sent in the United States every day. The Redwoods Company has just added a VIP Account Executives to their staff, Sarah Loewen. Sarah’s main focus will be the VIP program, dedicating herself to helping small businesses compete with big-box competitors and achieve their profit goals.

Sarah, brings a lot of experience in sales, finance, aftermarket, and customer service. She has spent several years in the car business and managed several different projects. Sarah is a mother and a wife and enjoys spending time with her family. She has a competitive drive and love to push herself to reach new goals.

The Redwoods Company was impressed by Sarah. She displayed excellent sales, customer service, and listening skills. Mischa Redmond will hold their training course the beginning of June.
